Wow.. Not sure where to start... The place is brand new and looks nice and clean as a new place should look but that is it for sure.. Serving plastic plates and cups is just poor taste and now the worst part is the wait staff to say they are clueless would be kind.. We went when they were busy and boy what a mistake because the waiters were lost in the jungle.. Food was cold came at different times they seem to be disturbed if you ask any questions what is worst you can not understand a word they are saying when they reply. I recommend stay away and you will be better off going to any other Chinese Restaraunt in south Florida. Too bad.. Area needs a Real New England style Chinese Restaraunt. PS walk down the strip mall a few hundred feet to the left and eat at Mamma Mia's Now they have their act together great food and outstanding service and great prices.

Horrible Chinese food. Worst I have ever eaten. The chicken and broccoli was too bland and oily and the broccoli was not fresh. The sesame chicken was too hard and of poor quality. I will not eat here again and recommend you not try either.

Chinese is meh. Sushi is awesome. One of my favorite spots to get sushi. And they deliver!

Don't waste your money here! We went there tonight, 2/28/2015. The Chinese dishes were virtually tasteless, everyone had to add either mustard or duck sauce to give the food flavor. I ordered sushi, two of the rolls, which were without rice, rolled in cucumber we ok, but just ok. I ordered their lobster roll and it sucked royally. The "lobster" was one or two very thin pieces of lobster, perhaps even imitation lobster, with heavy breading. Disgusting. The service was not good either, in fact, I was brought my dinner before everyone else even received their soup.

Today was the second time I have eaten lunch here. It hits the spot and satisfies my craving so I am a fan. It's really close to home and priced right too. It's not top of the line but for 6.99 it is probably better for me than the Kingdom Buffet which tempts me into eating more fried food and more meat than I should. Lunch specials come with soup. (I wish they would offer an eggroll upsell for a buck ) I got a bowl of wonton soup with two small wontons, not too salty, again that's good for me. For the main meal I got chicken with cashews.I asked for it to be spiced up with garlic. No problem she say. While waiting I munched on jumbo crispy fried noodles which I dipped in duck sauce. Now a question I have is that it seems the bowl of fried noodles which is quite large is not just for me even though I'm alone.. it sits on every table occupied or not. I assume since it was not a single portion that it stays on the table after one leaves to be offered to the next party. Not crazy about that from a germ pov. Also it seems the duck sauce and mustard which are in little bowls has the same deal. Whoever was after me may have gotten my spoonful. I hope not as I have a cold. I think they should change that aspect. Thats really my only gripe btw. Anyways the food came out quickly, it was hot and fresh with crunchy cashews and crunchy diced celery, pepper, carrots and even some mushrooms in there along with an ample amount of tender white chicken meat. You get a mound of yellow fried rice which was a bit warmer than luke warm but acceptable (I get that they make a mountain of it at 11 AM or so). So with plenty of my requested garlic sauce to mix it all up with this plate to me is a winner. The place is pretty new looking and clean, the bathroom was tidy, the service was decent enough and I did not get an MSG headache. This is good solid food not gourmet, not going to make any best of lists, but as I said before it hits the spot. I hope I have "found" a comfortable place close to home to chow and I will be sure to try some other dishes in the future.

I called on a Sunday night. It took1 hour for the food to arrive. When it did come, everything of course was cold and mushy. When I called to complain they were rude. I ordered the Chicken lo mein and beef with broccoli which were both oily and not edible. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else. Anywhere else in Boynton is better.

please do not waste you$$$. we found the food to oily, they charge for tea , and do not offer soup with there entrees, everything ALA cart. most restaurants in the are offer soup and tea at no extra charge and there prices are not competitive ,to high for what they offer.i recommend china gardens next to boys in delray. great lobster deals in season. this restaurant is packed in season. That should tell you something.

My husband and I were in the mood for Chinese takeout and received this menu in the mail not long ago. I'm not very picky when it comes to Chinese food, and we enjoy the basics so we gave it a shot. First off, the menu is extensive. They have so many options! They also have sushi and I am sure it's fine but I'm hesitant to try takeout sushi so we stuck with what we know. It's Wednesday night, 530 pm and we called and ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Lo Mein and Crab Rangoon. At 545 they were knocking at the door. At first I was thinking "there is no way this is going to be good", but after pulling the piping hot containers of food out I thought again. It was delish! The only complain I have is that they only gave us one packet of soy sauce. Other than that everything was great. So much chicken in the rice and Lo Mein that we were very impressed. The crab Rangoon was pretty good as well. I highly recommend them if you're looking for typical Chinese food with excellent service and speed.

Really was in the mood for sushi - super plus they have Chinese food too for my bf. We order dinner for delivery and was told there'd be a 45 minute wait. No biggie, well hang out and wait. I get a phone call an hour later saying they can't find my house (after I gave them address) and that they won't be coming. Now, it's about 9pm and what else is open? Nothing. Thanks for nothing, didn't offer anything to try them again, just told us the driver can't find our house and won't be bringing us dinner. Cool. Won't try you guys again.

Usually we have been getting our Chinese food at another takeout place & their food never disappointed us. We received a menu yesterday &'ordered from Tokyo Peking as they are only 3 minutes from my home. And to our surprise the food was excellent portions were very generous & prices are reasonable. Will be back for more when we want Chinese & sushi.

The food is always hot and fresh. The only thing I don't like is the customer service. The young always has a frown on her face and she's not very friendly. They don't serve lunch specials on the weekends so your stuck purchasing the dinner menu prices which is $4 more for the same food during lunch hours. . They won't even make an exception. No bueno But again the food is hot and fresh

I've written a good reviews in the past about this place, but lately the have been sucking! They can not take a phone order correctly. It takes like 5 minutes for them the get your phone number correct. I'm done! Going home to throw away the menu so I will never make the same mistake over and over!!!

I grew up in the Northeast and we ate Chinese food at least once a week for the 20 years I lived at home. Since my parents moved to FL, we've really been at a loss for a good sit-down Chinese restaurant. Everything here is crappy buffets and take out. Well, Tokyo Peking is a hidden gem! I am not sure the previous reviewer Bob P. and I even ate at the same restaurant. We ate here last night and had a great experience - good service, good food, and they gave us real plates and silverware. :-). Apparently so did the 50 others in the restaurant because this place was packed, everyone was smiling and laughing, and everyone devoured their dishes. Well except one old couple who you could tell would never be happy anywhere they went. So let's say 99% of the customers were happy. We will certainly be back. There is a virtual sea of mediocre Chinese restaurants in this area of South Florida, but Tokyo Peking stands out for a number of reasons. 1) there is a dining room (vs. being just take-out) and wait service 2) prices are very reasonable 3) the food is fresh and actually quite good. Since this was our first time here we stuck with the Chinese menu and didn't try any of the Japanese/sushi options (in my experience sushi at restaurants who serve mainly Chinese food is not very good). We got 3 different combination dinners all which come with pork fried rice, an egg roll, your choice of soup, and ice cream for dessert! Our 3 entrees were Roast Pork and Chinese vegetables, Chicken Lo Mein, and Chicken Egg Foo Young. We each ordered different soups - hot and sour, egg drop, and wonton. All 3 were delicious. I had the hot and sour which could have been a tad spicier but otherwise still delicious. The egg rolls came out next. I am not a huge egg roll fan, but these changed my mind - they were really tasty. Piping hot, crispy outside, tender inside. Not too cabbage-y. Not at all oily. The entrees came quickly after that. Entrees themselves were delicious (no oily noodles!) and the best I have had so far in the area. Portions were generous, we all had leftovers to take home. The only disappointment of the meal was the fried rice - it was definitely fresh and tasted fine, it was just a little blah compared to the rest of the food. But otherwise, we had an excellent experience and plan to be back. I think I am going to return at lunchtime this week to try to the sushi out!

I'm giving this place 4 stars because the food was delicious and a good price. We order chicken fried rice, the dragon roll and the dynamite roll and it all tasted delicious...even though it took 80 mins to to our place. I would have rated it lower base only on the fact it took forever but our driver was 77 years old and could not find our place. But when I nicely told him you need another easier job, he replied and said no one wants me at my age when it comes to jobs. He was a veteran too because I saw it on his car, so I think it's great the actually gave him a job. Also, our community is gated and is a large community so I can understand his difficulty.

Finally!!!! I've tried every single Chinese food place that delivers to my apartment complex, I don't get to have it that often since my boyfriend doesn't like it so I usually only order take out when he's at work or something and every time I have been disappointed. NOT THIS TIME! It's actually real chicken, not some weird gelatinous substance, it came hot, and reasonably priced. I gave 4 stars due to long delivery times, but I really don't mind it for not being let down. I will definitely be throwing away the other Chinese menus laying around, because I will only be ordering from this place from now on!

Finally great sushi with delivery service. The rolls tasted awesome and were good size. We also ordered the sweet and sour pork from the Chinese menu and it was fine (same as everywhere else). their house special rise is great. They gave us lots of extra sauces and stuff without asking, and staff was very polite. Their menu is full of Chinese and Japanese cuisine, lots of variety. We ate there once and the place is nice and quiet. Service was fast and it was a Saturday afternoon. We also tried delivery and with 2 small kids this helps a lot. Our new favorite spot for Asian food!

Alright let me start off with saying I am not a fan of Chinese food. I bought some take out here last Saturday because unlike myself, my mom loves Chinese food and we had yet get food here. I ordered two dinner menus for my parents which come with rice and soup. I bought them chicken low mein and General tso chicken and I bought myself an order of mango chicken. First things first is that this food was not overly greasy unlike most Chinese food, which was great. Everything tasted fresh and not just reheated. All of the food was great. I will definitely return. I also like how extensive their menu is. This is the best take out I've had. My new favorite.

We started ordering from the Hypoluxo location about a year ago. The food - both sushi and hot food - was always REALLY good. I was excited when they added the location on Woolbright, as it's closer to my home, but the quality just isn't there anymore. I've given it a solid 3 tries over the past 3 months. I've ordered chicken teriyaki, chicken and broccoli and tonight I ordered tofu lomein - pretty standard fare, I think. The chicken was SUPER dry both times, and tonight the lomein and tofu were burnt. My partner, however, always gets sushi and says the quality of that is still decent (I wouldn't know, so I can't speak for the sushi).

Food is okay. We ordered the Fried Bagel Roll and loved it. Very good. Then we got the General Tso Chicken dinner combo which came with pork fried rice, an eggroll, and egg drop soup. It was less than mediocre. It was very soggy. The soup was flavorless. Would go back only for the sushi.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
